About Urbanrehab - Physiotherapy And Hand Therapy Centre
Urbanrehab provides physiotherapy services, specializing in four areas of interests and skill:- Geriatric (Elderly)- Orthopedic- Neurological- Integumentary Each areas of specialization focuses on each areas' problems, eg the elderly population has risk of falls due to balance issues; in orthopedic rehabilitation, we are trained to manage and rehabilitate clients who has sprains, fractures or just had an operation; for neurological conditions we will provide neurorehabilitation to counter the effects of neurological deficits; for integumentary involves the treatment of skin and soft/related organs or tissue, so we do swelling management, splinting and the like. We started out as we wanted to better serve Singaporeans, giving ample time and one-to-one rehabilitation in a unhurried manner. This is because this approach yields the best rehabilitation and mobility outcomes for all our clients. We make it a point when clients come to our clinic, they are often our main focus at the moment, until they finish their session with us. That's when Urbanrehab focused to provide physiotherapy and hand therapy treatments of a high standard and at affordable prices. A place clients would not just enjoy coming for their rehabilitative needs, but deliver what they need to boost their mobility, function and independence. Urbanrehab was established in June 2008 with a strong emphasis on a client-centred practice. Today we have a team of 2 physiotherapists, 1 hand therapist and 2 occupational therapist in Singapore. They are formally qualified physiotherapists and hand therapist, with experience in rehabilitation therapy and injury rehabilitation in public and private healthcare institutions within Singapore. That being said, we understand that everyone is different. That's why we do assessments and treatments one-to-one, unhurried, but structured treatments and assessments are to be expected. We also will take your medical history and fitness needs are addressed during your sessions with us.
